its got me thinking of getting rid of my mac desktop, [G3 blue and white]... I was really impressed esp with the super drive imac, for only $1799.00 !!!.

yeah; in person it looks much more substantial, not at all like a desk lamp as the press is saying. the ability to swivel the screen is pretty cool and the base has this really silky-feeling texture to it.
